Literacy

Handwriting:

At Compass Point we teach handwriting using the Letter join handwriting scheme.  It is an online handwriting programme with an app, online activities and printable resources. The scheme is very useful in introducing a more fluid and legible handwriting style early on in the handwriting process. Children who are new to writing begin with correct pencil control, exercises to build core strength and fine motor skills. They then practise key letter joins and correct letter formation.
